The Syrup Shall Rise Again!

The federal government and the NB provincial government have invested 1.3 million dollars Saint-Quentin maple syrup producers. This money will help cover renovations, new equipment, expansions, etc. There will be seven maple syrup producers that will benefit from this. (Érablière chez Coui-Coui Inc., Le Bel Érablière Inc., l’Érablière Boulay Inc., and Érablière D. Thibeault Ltée to name a few.)

This is just a small article but I thought it would be nice to bring some good news to the first blog after March Break. As we all should know, the maple syrup industry is solid economic factor in New Brunswick (and the rest of Canada) and it's good to see the province, as well as the country, making sure it stays that way. Maybe with the expansions there will come some new jobs. That sure would be nice to see. Besides, we can't let the fine people of this fine province be forced to put that Aunt Jemima water on their pancakes/waffles. That just wouldn't be right.

If you want to read the article, the link is down below as always. Nice to see you folks again and as always, Stay Golden.
